Privacy Policy

Account details. Your email address and name when you sign up, including when you sign in with Google. We use these to create and secure your account.

Learning activity. The messages you exchange with Mia, our AI tutor, your lesson progress, practice results and settings. This is how the product works: it remembers where you are so it can teach you.

Technical data. Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) used to keep the service running and to stop abuse.

To provide the service, personalise your lessons, enforce usage limits, fix bugs and improve MyEng.ai. Your conversations with Mia are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) to generate replies. They are not used to train public AI models.

We do not sell your data. We do not show advertising. We do not share your data with anyone except the service providers below, and only so they can run their part of the product.

Supabase (database and authentication), Vercel (hosting), Anthropic (AI responses), and Telegram when you use the MyEng.ai bot. Each processes data only on our instructions.

If you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address and profile picture, and nothing else.

We also run an internal publishing tool, MyEng Poster, that uses the YouTube Data API to upload videos to our own MyEng.ai YouTube channel. It acts only on accounts owned by MyEng.ai and never reads, stores or shares any other person's Google or YouTube data.

MyEng.ai's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

We keep your data while your account is active. Email thurainbiz@gmail.com from your account address and we will delete your account and its data within 30 days. Server logs are kept for up to 90 days.

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest with our providers. Access is limited to what is needed to run the service. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects you, we will tell you.

MyEng.ai is for adults and learners aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone younger. If you believe we have, email us and we will remove it.
